Mundolivar 2026
The fourth Mundolivar Congress takes place at the University of Córdoba (UCO) on June 17 and 18, 2026. As one of the major international events for the olive oil industry, Mundolivar brings together leading companies, researchers and professionals to explore the latest technological developments shaping the sector.
Researchers from agrifoodTEF at the University of Córdoba take part in the event, held at the university’s Rabanales Campus. Throughout the congress, agrifoodTEF is also represented at the stand of the International ENIA Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture (CIIAA), where visitors can learn more about the project and the testing and validation services it provides to SMEs in the agri-food sector.
As part of the programme, Rosa Gallardo Cobos (agrifoodTEF Spain) moderates the round table “When technology makes decisions: sensors, AI and automation for efficiency”. The session brings together companies and professionals developing innovative technological solutions for the olive sector, covering areas including precision spraying, geospatial intelligence, olive mill automation, farm data analysis and advanced agricultural machinery.
Among the speakers are Julian Muguerza, CEO of Glimax España, and Miguel Pascual Fernández de Henestrosa, CEO of Hareas. Both companies are currently testing their AI and robotics solutions through agrifoodTEF at the University of Córdoba. Their participation highlights agrifoodTEF’s role in supporting companies throughout the testing and validation of innovative technologies under real-world conditions, helping ensure that the solutions reaching the agri-food sector are reliable, practical and tailored to its needs.
