How it works

Companies contact the agrifoodTEF Irish Node to present their AI, robotics or automation challenge and outline their validation objectives. In an initial consultation, we assess technical maturity, integration requirements and commercial ambitions. Together, we define a structured scope of work aligned with agrifoodTEF services and prepare a tailored validation plan and timeline. A formal service agreement is then established.

Engineering validation and integration activities are delivered in IMaR laboratories or directly at the company’s site, depending on project needs. System performance data and technical metrics are captured, analysed and documented. Companies receive a clear validation report with practical recommendations to support product refinement, market entry, investment readiness or regulatory progression, with follow-up support available where appropriate.
