Purpose & Scope
- Presentation of the EU AI Act framework and its practical implications for the agrifood sector. The training covers the regulatory structure, risk classification system, compliance requirements, and specific obligations for different stakeholders. Participants will gain understanding of how the AI Act affects AI development, deployment, and testing in agriculture and food processing.
- The training includes an overview of prohibited AI practices, high-risk AI systems, transparency requirements, and conformity assessment procedures. Special attention is given to agrifood-specific applications and how agrifoodTEF can support companies in achieving compliance
- A selection of services and resources available through agrifoodTEF nodes to support AI Act compliance will also be presented, including documentation templates, testing infrastructure, and expert consultations.
