 77th EAAP Annual Meeting

The 77th EAAP Annual Meeting unites the animal science community to exchange research, experiences and perspectives on the development of more resilient and sustainable livestock systems. Held in Hamburg, Germany, from 7 to 11 September 2026, the meeting focuses on the theme “Shaping resilient livestock systems is key to circular agriculture”.

The annual meeting provides a platform for researchers, experts and stakeholders from across Europe and beyond to discuss developments in animal science, share research findings and explore innovative approaches to livestock production and sustainability. The programme covers a broad range of topics related to the future of animal science and livestock systems.
The event also provides an opportunity to discuss the role of digital technologies and innovation in supporting research and services for the livestock sector.

In this context, the agrifoodTEF ecosystem is represented through the participation of its French Node, with IDELE.
As part of the meeting, IDELE delivers a presentation entitled “agrifoodTEF after three years: Lessons learned by researchers providing innovation services to agrifood tech companies”. The presentation shares insights from three years of experience within agrifoodTEF, focusing on the perspective of researchers involved in providing innovation services to agrifood technology companies.

The participation of agrifoodTEF at the EAAP Annual Meeting highlights the experience gained through the provision of testing and innovation services and contributes to discussions on how research expertise and technological innovation can support the development of the agrifood sector.
