4th Central European Technology Forum (CETEF'24)
The Central European Technology Forum – CETEF’24 is a leading international event, held since 2014 by the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Advanced Technologies (IZTECH) and the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations. Under the patronage of the European Parliament and in partnership with the European Commission, this event brings together key players from universities, research institutes, and the high-tech industry.
CETEF’24 aims to provide an international platform for discussions on European policies driving digital and energy transformation. The event will inspire cross-national partnerships, showcase Poland’s technological potential, and foster regional high-tech projects. With a focus on aligning with the EU’s development agenda, CETEF’24 is a unique opportunity to shape the future of science and technology from 2025 to 2030.
The 4th edition of CETEF will take place in Krakow, co-organised by the AGH University of Science and Technology, the Jagiellonian University, and the President of the City of Krakow.
Key participants include:
- EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education, and Youth
- Chairman of the Industry, Research, and Energy Committee of the European Parliament
- Representatives from government institutions, industry leaders, and scientific experts from 16 Central European countries
Horizon Europe Matchmaking Event
For the first time in CETEF history, the event will conclude with the Horizon Europe Matchmaking Event. Organised by the Industry Contact Points (ICP) and its 6 Łukasiewicz’s institutes, including the Łukasiewicz – Poznański Instytut Technologiczny, this networking event will assist participants in:
- Finding and connecting with international partners for European projects
- Organising training workshops and consultations
- Supporting the integration of new partners into European Partnerships, fostering the creation of joint consortia and innovative projects
