EIMA 2024: the International Exhibition for Gardening and Agricultural Equipment
Another major event will take place in Bologna, Italy, from November 6th to the 10th, before the year finishes. One of the larger international shows for gardening and agricultural equipment is the EIMA.
Since 1969, FederUnacoma has promoted EIMA as a biennial event that showcases cutting-edge technology worldwide and draws 14 commerce sectors and manufacturing companies from every continent. EIMA takes place in the Bologna fairground, which has an exhibiting area of 375,000 m² by 122,000 m² net. At each edition, almost 1,700 companies from 42 countries showcase more than 60,000 types of gear and equipment for different agricultural or green business models.
agrifoodTEF at EIMA 2024
There are many pertinent themes and panels about agritech and the relationship between robotics and agriculture in this year's programme. The Robotics, Perception, and AI session, which takes place on the Digital Terrace, Pav. 37, on November 8 at 3 PM CET, is one of the most intriguing programme areas where agrifoodTEF is represented.
