How it works
The catalogue provides the foundation, but our true value lies in connecting the right experts, facilities, and partners to your specific needs. After initial contact, we conduct an interview to assess your solution and validation requirements, then identify the most suitable resources within the agrifoodTEF network. A tailored service request is prepared and approved by the consortium, typically within a week on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once approved, we collaboratively define the scope, objectives, test environment, data, metrics, deliverables, and timeline. Following a formal agreement, our team carries out validation in real or digital settings. All services are fully funded for start-ups and SMEs and can be combined across multiple partners to address your specific requirements.

Who we are and what we do
The agrifoodTEF Spanish Node is a consortium of nine partners, bringing together leading universities (Universitat de Lleida and Universidad de Córdoba), research centres (Agrotecnio and Gradiant), and innovation hubs (Parc Agrobiotech Lleida and DIH DATAlife), alongside the agri-tech company Hispatec and the public agency Axencia Galega da Calidade Alimentaria.
We provide expertise across scientific research, experimental farms, field trials, data management, AI, technology transfer, and quality assurance. This breadth allows us to address agricultural challenges using advanced technologies, including NIRS, smart irrigation, remote sensing, Earth observation, and agricultural robotics.
