More about the service
Before engaging with us, you may feel uncertain about which laws, directives, and standards pertain to your cutting-edge technology. You might also be unsure how to tailor your AI or robotic solution to meet the safety, environmental, and performance requirements unique to the agricultural industry.
After collaborating with us, you will receive a comprehensive roadmap outlining all the necessary compliance steps for your product. We will assess the regulatory landscape, identify the relevant standards, and guide you in adapting your innovation to meet those demands.
Furthermore, we can connect you with additional TEF services, such as product validation, industry partnerships, and scaling support, to further enhance your chances of success in the agricultural market.
- Workshops: Collaborative workshops involving experts from RISE and representatives from the customer’s team will be conducted. At least one workshop will be held in person, while subsequent sessions can take place online.
- Classification Determination: The service begins with determining whether the machine is classified as a machine or a tractor. This classification will dictate whether CE marking or Type Approval as a tractor is required.
Deliverables: The main deliverable is a comprehensive report outlining the regulations and legislation that the customer must comply with to obtain CE marking or Type Approval for their product as an autonomous machine or tractor. Additionally, the report will include a list of other potential services that agrifoodTEF can provide to support the customer further.
Duration: The typical timeframe for this service is 3-4 months, depending on order volume and capacity.
Customer Responsibilities: The company must provide necessary information promptly to ensure timely completion of the work. It is also responsible for developing the CE marking or Type Approval documentation; RISE and agrifoodTEF will assist in the process but will not be responsible for the documentation itself.
