Laboratory for lifespan of materials and systems

Description

The laboratory offers a wide range of ageing simulations, including thermal, mechanical, chemical, and climatic stresses, to replicate real-life or extreme use conditions. These tests are designed to evaluate material durability, detect failure mechanisms, and support predictive maintenance strategies. Our infrastructure supports both standardised testing protocols and tailor-made test campaigns, adapted to specific use cases or industrial environments.

Laboratory for climatic tests

Description

These tests form part of the range of services for simulating environmental constraints such as mechanical, climatic, or electromagnetic compatibility.

Laboratory for vibrations, shocks, and constant acceleration

Description

These tests serve to assess the mechanical behaviour of products under both normal and severe operating conditions. They successfully incorporate into a comprehensive qualification and characterisation program the set of equipment ancillary to testing conducted on electromagnetic compatibility, climate, electricity, etc...

Laboratory for acoustic

Description

These chambers offer free-field primary and secondary calibration, directivity measurement, sound power measurement for machines, sound absorption measurement in reverberation rooms in accordance with ISO 354, and COFRAC certification for all these tests.

Laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility

Description

LNE's facilities for electromagnetic compatibility are part of the conformity assessment steps to ensure electrical, electronic, and embedded components comply with safety requirements.

Laboratory for electric and electronic products safety

Description

For this purpose, LNE Laboratory is eager to guide you in determining the services you'll need to satisfy such requirements. The application of safety standards makes it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of the device's means of protection. In the context of CE marking, the conformity of products with harmonised standards makes it possible to obtain a presumption of conformity with the requirements of the directives and regulations relating to these standards. To assess compliance with these standards, LNE offers testing and documentary analysis services.

Laboratory for radiofrequency

Description

Radio frequency tests are essential to ensure the conformity of equipment using radio frequencies. In particular, its transmission power, spectral occupancy, presence of parasitic emissions,, and reception sensitivity must be checked. However, for the vast majority of products, radio functionality is provided by integrating a module that has already been assessed under the RED directive. In this case, the EMC and electrical safety sections of the final product must be assessed in their entirety.

LE.IA Data

Description

Typically, an evaluation plan is drawn up, including identification of the various influencing factors, evaluation criteria definition, and test scenarios. Using task-appropriate metrics, the overall product performance is assessed, and underperforming scenarios can be identified. It is also necessary to have various data from the product, which must be qualified and annotated in order to evaluate the product as accurately as possible. This facility is based on MATICS software and high-performance computing resources.

LE.IA Action

Description

This modular platform covers several fields of robotics. In particular, it features a climate chamber to validate the robot's operation at different temperatures and tracking cameras to measure its movements. The modules designed for movement tests (rough terrain, mazes, etc.) and manipulation tests (handles, valves, 6D positioning) are based on NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) standards.

LE.IA Immersion

Description

Evaluation on this bench consists of placing a device at the heart of a simulation projected onto a 300° screen while a motion capture system and an instrumented conveyor belt measure its movements, if any. These data are integrated into the simulator in real time so that the device's digital twin follows the same movements and the projected environment is updated accordingly. The simulator also incorporates a physics engine and advanced sensor models, enabling a virtual sensor output to be substituted for the robot's sensors in real time.
