Description

The equipment includes machines such as: 3D printers, CNC milling machine, CO2 laser and many other power tools for workshop work. These tools allow drones to be modernised and equipped with new elements.

Drones owned by PSNC are also assigned to this lab as equipment. It includes enterprise-grade multirotors such as DJI Matrice 350, DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral and DJI Matrice 100. The equipment also includes fixed-wing drones (Parrot Disco AG). Different type of payload tested is a ball applicator containing trichogramma fly larvae. The use of this solution allows for a biological, ecological fight against the corn pest – moth ostrinia nubilalis.

What could be offered through this facility?

- Performing flights and collecting photos/data from multispectral and RGB cameras for selected fields or crops;
- Testing custom applications that allow for controlling drones or their swarms;
- Testing new payloads in agricultural contexts;
- The workshop equipment allows for on-site modernisation and development.
