Description

The Vision+Robotics programme combines our rich domain knowledge with technology: we bring together a diverse team of more than 40 experts in computer vision, robotics, AI, and spectral imaging from all corners of WUR. This unique synergy creates a powerhouse of tech-savvy researchers, united by a shared commitment to developing high-tech solutions that benefit both the planet and its inhabitants.

The WUR Vision+Robotics lab is used by WUR's Vision+Robotics researchers and offers lab space and a workshop where prototypes can be assembled and tested. Besides space and tools, the lab also has a collection of technical equipment, like cameras, robot arms, lidar, ultrasonic sensors, rugged computers and PLCs, which can be used. We experiment, test and validate solutions with domain-specific WUR facilities and at a network of frontrunner agtech-driven farms.
