Overview
FEM will support companies developing machine vision tools (both hardware and software), e.g., for counting and estimating the size of fruits, either by collecting ground-truth data or by comparing the results of the FEM algorithms with the customer solution. These activities are supported by both physical and digital facilities.

FEM researchers and technologists have years of experience in several fields and can support customers in both the collection and processing of field data and images. The activity will help the customer to assess both the accuracy and precision of their machine vision tools, with the final goal to improve the mean average precision of the customer’s solution.
How the service will be delivered
Field activities at FEM’s experimental facilities will be carried out during the growing season. Data, models, and reports will be provided digitally.
