World FIRA 2025
The 9th edition of World FIRA, the premier event for innovation in agricultural robotics, taking place from February 4 to 6, 2025, in Toulouse, France. Bringing together leading industry players, farmers, and innovators from around the globe, World FIRA is the ultimate platform for discovering autonomous and robotics solutions that are transforming modern agriculture. With live field demonstrations, specialized conferences, and unparalleled networking opportunities, this event offers a comprehensive look into the technologies reshaping how we farm.
The 2025 edition showcases over 80 exhibitors, including key players like New Holland, Naïo Technologies, Agrointelli, and EXXACT Robotics. Visitors can experience live demonstrations of robots working on real crops, from vegetables and vineyards to field crops and tree fruits, addressing challenges such as weed control, harvesting, fertilizing, and seeding. With over 2,500 attendees expected, including 800 farmers, World FIRA is the place to connect, learn, and grow in agricultural robotics.
Our French Node
The agrifoodTEF French Node is at the forefront of agricultural innovation, combining expertise in robotics and AI with a strong network of research labs and experimental farms. This network, which includes the Institut français de la vigne et du vin (IFV), is dedicated to supporting agrifood companies in developing cutting-edge solutions tailored to the sector’s real-world challenges.
The services cover the entire product validation process – from lab testing to real-world experimentation – the French Node ensures end-user feedback, advanced agritech insights, and adherence to safety and sustainability standards. Its work spans autonomous and semi-autonomous AI devices for plant production, animal farming, and forestry, addressing diverse geographical needs across France.
agrifoodTEF at the event
At World FIRA 2025, IFV plays a key role, participating in the session titled "Vineyard Industry: Grower Feedback on Agricultural Robots". This session sees the contribution of Christophe Gaviglio, Experimentation Engineer at the Institut français de la vigne et du vin (IFV) and is taking place on Thursday, 6 February from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM (CET).
In this session, winegrowers share their experiences with the robots they use in their vineyards. Winegrowers discuss the solutions they have chosen, highlighting both their successes and the challenges they have faced. This is not only be an opportunity to discover the benefits of these technologies but also to discuss their limitations, the necessary adjustments, and areas for improvement.
agrifoodTEF is also be present with a booth to foster networking connections and promote the project.
