Overview

Agriculture is a local and specific business, where localisation of solutions is required, especially when it comes to language and interfacing with users. Albeit the diffusion of multilingual generative AI technologies (or large language models, e.g., GPT), these models are not optimised for a specific industry. We can test the performance of multilingual AI solutions in agriculture, highlighting bottlenecks that limit them. This allows for optimised localisation of solutions and quicker achievement of scalability at the European level.

The service supports TEF customers to reach new markets via translation of their solutions in a domain-specific language.

This is a digital service, and its duration is approximately 16 weeks, adjustable as needed.The TEF customer should provide his AI solution and collaborate to define the critical translation pitfalls. The outcome is a multilingual AI test report and strategies for performance improvements. FBK can provide a dataset for training/testing in a specific language domain with a dedicated service (S00353).

Depending on the desired target language, there may be some limitations related to the available dataset for testing. Customer-specific needs will be evaluated before starting the service.
