The Dutch AgrifoodTEF node, led by Wageningen University & Research (WUR), is a cutting-edge test and experimentation facility dedicated to accelerating AI and robotics innovations in agriculture. As part of the European AgrifoodTEF network, we bridge the gap between research and real-world application, offering a comprehensive suite of services to agri-tech innovators.
Our node leverages WUR's world-class expertise in arable farming, livestock, horticulture, and digital technologies. We provide access to state-of-the-art physical and virtual infrastructures, including the Farm of the Future, De Marke livestock facility, and advanced AI and robotics laboratories.
Our services encompass the entire innovation journey: from co-design and prototyping to rigorous testing in simulated and real-world environments. We offer specialized support in AI model development, data provision, and algorithm training. Uniquely, we integrate ethical, legal, and social aspects (ELSA) into the development process, ensuring responsible innovation.
