How it works
The process begins when an SME from the agri-food sector contacts the agrifoodTEF Polish Node to discuss their AI or robotics project. Following an initial consultation, we assess eligibility for de minimis funding and identify specific service requirements. Together, we tailor a customised package of testing infrastructure and expert support, which can potentially be funded up to 100% through the project.
Companies then access our physical and digital infrastructure, compliance testing facilities, and qualified experts to validate their solutions. Throughout the process, we provide employee training, technical consulting, and international promotion opportunities. Finally, the validated AI-based product reaches the market, providing farmers and food processors with enhanced, quality-tested technology.

Who we are and what we do
The Polish Node is a consortium comprising the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology, the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Centre, and the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre. We offer SMEs services to SMEs for the verification of modern robotic solutions, providing high-performance digital infrastructure for calculations and simulations.
Additionally, the Node provides dedicated fields and test sites for validating agricultural robotics, sensors, and drones. By combining advanced technical facilities with practical advisory expertise, we support the development of innovative tools tailored for the agri-food sector.
