Overview
In order to develop digital twins for agriculture, reliable long-term datasets on the agronomy and ecology of fields are crucial. From several long-term experiments and agricultural systems (like the Farm of the Future), datasets of fields are available with registrations of crop operations, crop measurements (e.g., timeseries of vegetation indices), yield, soil, & weather data, and data on key performance indicators. In some cases, other sensor data (tractor data, soil moisture, insect monitoring) are also available. New datasets can be developed based on specific needs.

Companies that are developing and using visualisation, simulation, and digital twin technology to support their customers have a need to acquire basic data on a variety of farming systems and circumstances. We are able to deliver data on farming systems that are gathered in the context of farming systems that are based on agro-ecological principles.
Although there is quite a bit of historic data available, it is expected that every time customisation might be needed. The level of detail in time and place and the context of the data can be varied.
