What could be offered through this facility?

The cow barn, fully equipped with an advanced milking robot system, is entirely available for conducting tests and experiments in robotics and artificial intelligence. This modern, technologically advanced facility provides significant opportunities for research and experimentation in the livestock sector. Breeders and researchers can utilise the free-stall housing system with cubicles to study animal welfare and optimal breeding practices for the Italian Friesian, Jersey, and Red Spotted breeds. Detailed analyses can also be conducted on milk production, focusing on the quality and yields required for Grana Padano PDO production. Additionally, the presence of a small herd of 16 Piedmontese cattle enables exploration of breeding methods for meat production, offering valuable insights into the nutritional and management needs of different breeds.
