Radio frequency tests are essential to ensure the conformity of equipment using radio frequencies. In particular, its transmission power, spectral occupancy, presence of parasitic emissions,, and reception sensitivity must be checked. However, for the vast majority of products, radio functionality is provided by integrating a module that has already been assessed under the RED directive. In this case, the EMC and electrical safety sections of the final product must be assessed in their entirety. For radio, the initial assessment of the module can be repeated under the responsibility of the integrator and must be documented in its risk analysis. If there is no proof of conformity (test report), all the radio tests must be repeated. Integrating a radio module into a final product has an impact on overall radiation levels and also requires a reassessment. Protocols involved: 2G (GPRS), 3G (UMTS), 4G (LTE / LTE NB-IOT / LTE CAT-M1), 5G (FR1), WIFI (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz / 6 GHz), Bluetooth (Low Energy, Classic), NFC / RFID (125 kHz, 13.56 MHz, 868 MHz), 868 MHz
