Hosted Commercial Marketplace for End-User Validation

Overview

Research centres and AI enterprises often struggle to commercialise newly developed algorithms, while farmers and agronomists hesitate to adopt AI solutions without proving they work on their own fields. This service provides a hosted validation marketplace. Algorithm developers can publish their models (e.g., drought and water stress detection via drone imagery) as an executable service within the AgrospAI Data Space. End-users can then securely upload their own assets (such as field images or sensor logs) and run them against the algorithm to validate its real-world accuracy under their specific agronomic conditions – crop variety, microclimate, field geometry – before any commercial commitment. AgrospAI provides the robust computing resources required to execute these heavy data tasks. Processing high-resolution drone imagery, multispectral data, or complex sensor arrays requires significant computing power. By hosting the algorithm on the AgrospAI HPC cluster, the heavy lifting of data inference is offloaded from the end-user. The developer's intellectual property (the algorithm) is protected within a containerised environment, while the end-user's uploaded data is processed securely and efficiently. Thanks to the Pontus-X technology, the end-user's data is deleted from the environment once processing is complete, guaranteeing that data will never be leaked. This creates a secure, neutral environment where the technology can be validated on real agrifood assets under real field conditions.

More about the service

How can the service help you?

The customer (which includes both the algorithm provider and the end-user) will receive: For algorithm providers (AI developers and research centers): A ready-to-use hosting environment to publish AI models without needing to build backend web or cloud infrastructure. Fast execution of complex inference tasks backed by AgrospAI's high-performance compute and high-speed storage. For end-users (farmers, agronomists, and cooperatives): A secure interface for end-users to upload heavy datasets (like drone orthomosaics) directly to the execution environment. Standardised output reports (e.g., stress heatmaps, validation metrics) returned to the end-user in an interpretable format suitable for non-technical agronomic audiences. With this, the service solves: The commercialisation and "trust" gap: end-users validate the algorithm on their own fields, their own crops, and their own conditions — not on generic demo data — before any commercial commitment. Infrastructure deployment barriers: research centres do not need to invest in hosting servers to offer commercial trials of their algorithms. Slow iteration and testing times: thanks to the HPC infrastructure, heavy image processing tasks are executed in minutes, enabling rapid validation cycles across multiple end-users simultaneously.

How the service will be delivered

The AI developer is granted access to deploy their model as a containerised service within the AgrospAI Data Space, with technical support provided for the integration. Once published, a marketplace interface or API endpoint is made available where end-users can securely upload their specific datasets. The compute execution is handled automatically by the cluster, and results are delivered back to the end-user in a structured, agronomically interpretable report. Helpdesk assistance is available for both providers and end-users during the validation cycles. • For algorithm providers: The AI developer is granted access to deploy their model as a containerised service within the AgrospAI Data Space, with technical support provided for the integration. Once uploaded, the containerised software is isolated from the internet and is no longer accessible to its provider, ensuring that granting it access to end-user data does not pose security or exfiltration risks. • For end-users: Once the algorithm is published, a marketplace interface is made available where end-users can easily and securely upload their specific datasets. The compute execution is handled automatically by the cluster, and results are delivered back to the end-user in the AgrospAI interface. Helpdesk assistance is available for both providers and end-users during the validation cycles.

Service customisation

We are highly open to customising the environment to support specific agricultural data formats (e.g., GeoTIFFs, LiDAR point clouds, specific IoT payload formats,...) and can adjust the computational resources allocated per execution depending on the size of the end-user's fields and the complexity of the AI model. Output report templates can be adapted to the agronomic context (crop type, growth stage, target KPIs) to ensure results are interpretable by non-technical end-users.
