UAV Arena

Description

At ACENTAURI, we host a dedicated indoor UAV Arena measuring 5 meters x 6 meters x 7 meters, specifically designed for the development, testing, and demonstration of mobility algorithms for both Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Autonomous Ground Robots (AGRs). This facility offers a controlled and customisable indoor environment, making it ideal for preliminary experimentation and fine-tuning of robotics systems before deployment in real-world conditions.

Mobile Living Laboratory

Description

This facility is a movable laboratory specifically designed to meet the requirements for providing Agrifood-TEF services. The Mobile Living Laboratory (MLL) is equipped with essential infrastructure such as power generators, ground (AGR) and aerial (UAV) robots, computing units, and a robust communication system supporting LAN, WiFi, and 4G/5G connectivity. It is tailored for testing, monitoring, and experimental activities and also includes basic living and working amenities to support up to three engineers during field operations.

Phenological and agrometeorological stations

Description

PSNC has a network of 20 units of phenological stations, consisting of a PTZ camera with 40x optical zoom and a GSM router. These stations are used to observe phenological phenomena and monitor the occurrence of pests and plant diseases. They are located throughout Poland. Additionally, PSNC is the owner of data transmitted from a network of 550 agrometeorological stations. These stations are precise tools for conducting continuous meteorological measurements.

Experimental Vineyard_IFV

Description

Our experimental 15-hectare vineyard is planted with the main grape varieties of the Southwest. It also includes a plot of grape varieties with more than 300 varieties listed. Located in the direct vicinity of the farm buildings, the plots are representative of many different conditions in terms of soil (silt, sand, clay, pebbles) and at the topography level (flat, slope, side slope). Two main pruning methods are represented: the Guyot and the cordon.

Workshop

Description

The workshop can be used for storage, working on a prototype, or loading the robot’s batteries. It can be helpful to avoid multiple transportations of a robot, for example, when the field experimentations must last more than a day. It is equipped with electric plugs and has convenient tools for working on metal or wood.
