Overview
Wageningen University & Research (WUR) offers access to unique, long-term datasets from Agro-Innovation Centre De Marke, a fully operational circular dairy farming system that has been scientifically monitored for over 30 years. These datasets cover the entire dairy system, including cow behaviour and performance, feed strategies, manure characteristics, soil quality, crop yields, emissions and nutrient flows.
Thanks to the consistent and system-oriented data collection approach at De Marke, datasets are reliable and can be used for the development, training and validation of AI algorithms. The data reflects real-farm conditions and captures interactions across the full circular chain, from cow, to manure, to soil and back to feed production.
In addition to existing datasets, new data streams can be collected on request to support specific validation or development needs. This enables companies to accelerate AI-development while ensuring robustness, credibility and relevance for circular livestock farming systems.
This service focuses on re-use and provision of structured datasets, not on experimental testing or validation protocols.
